Jika kita mau menjalankan AT command diwindows, kita bisa menggunakan hyperterminal. Program ini akan menjalankan perintah-perintahyang akan dieksekusi oleh modem yang kita pasang.
Klik Windows Start > All Program > Accessories > Communication > HyperTerminal.
Untuk bisa menjalankan AT command di linux kita dapat menggunakan software yang bernama minicom. Untuk menginstall minicom di gentoo bisa menggunakan [...]

Setelah lama mencoba nginstall gentoo mulai dari yg pake CD minimal sampai dengan yg LiveCD Installer, dan sambil “berguling-guling” dikit. Akhirnya gentooku berhasil terinstall di PC-ku dengan baik. Malahan udah ada GUInya lho..

i’ve bored with my winxp style, threfore i try to install ubuntu dekstop theme. i found it at http://www.deviantart.com/download/18591720/ClearLooks_2_2.zip . Here the screenshot of my winxp dekstop after i installed the theme. its looks like ubuntu gnome rite?? you must try it with your winxp.

Iseng-iseng nengok distrowatch.com terlihat statistik penggunaan distro-distro linux di dunia ini (walaupun hal ini masih bisa diperdebatkan validitasnya). Pada peringkat pertama ada PCLinuxOS disusul Ubuntu, OpenSuse dan Fedora sementara itu distro yang termasuk tua yaitu Slackware terlempar dari 10 besar. Slackware hanya menempati peringkat 11.
